Indications:

Lindalice shampoo which contains lindane is used to treat infections caused by human lice.

Method of Use:

Before use, the skin and hair should be completely clean and free of moisture and any kind of grease (including lotions, creams, ointments, moisturizers, oily and conditioning products for hair). First wash your hair thoroughly with another shampoo, rinse and dry completely.

Wait at least 1 hour and then use the shampoo as follows:

1- Pour the shampoo directly on the hair and wash it without adding water especially the fine hair around the neck. (Complete shampoo for long hair, 3/4 shampoo for medium-length hair, half shampoo for short hair.)

2- After 4 minutes, pour a small amount of water on the hair and massage it until enough foam is formed. Then rinse the foam immediately.

3- Dry the hair quickly with a towel and then remove the lice residue from the hair with a comb inside the box.

4- After consuming lindane, do not use any kind of cover (hat or towel) on the hair.

5- Avoid any unnecessary contact of the shampoo foam with other parts of the body.

6- Do not use more than one bottle for adults.

Combing Method:

Divide the hair into several parts and comb each part according to the following method.

First, comb the hair with a regular comb to straighten the hair and untie the hair knot. Then take the tip of the fine-toothed comb and comb some of the hair from the scalp towards the end of the hair the comb being first attached to the scalp, after each combing remove the lice from the comb with a tissue and put the tissue in a plastic bag. Separate the combed hair from the un combed parts with a clip and continue in the same way for the other parts of the hair until all the hair is combed. Then remove the clips and rinse your hair again with warm water.

Notes:

1- Shake the shampoo before use.

2- Skin and hair should be completely clean and free of moisture and any kind of fat (including lotions, creams, ointments, moisturizers, and in the case of hair, oily and conditioning products) before use.

3- This drug should be used in patients who do not respond to first-line treatment or cannot tolerate first-line drugs such as permethrin and crotamitone.

4- This drug is for single use only. Do not use this shampoo for re-treatment or regular use.

5- Do not use in case of allergy to lindane or similar cases.

6- Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous surfaces, scabbed and inflamed skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

7- All the patient's clothes, sheets and towels should be washed with hot water or sprayed with a special dermin spray.

8- All family members of the infected person should be treated at the same time.

9- This drug is for external use.

10- This drug is not edible.

11- If used incorrectly, this drug can be toxic.

12- To prevent re-contamination, use clothes that have been recently washed and dried.

13- Continuation of itching after drug treatment is normal and reuse of this product after completing a course of treatment has not been approved.
